Stayed for a week in March, had read mixed reviews in advance so went with open mind. I would say that our allocated room was large, spotless and well maintained. The view was great, there was no noise and this could not be faulted. The resort was large, again very clean and well maintained. A number of pools and areas to sit and take in the views. The staff, particularly David in the Moments Bar and Marina in Reception stood out, for the majority the staff worked incredibly hard. The resort is very 'out of the way' and you would need to drive/cab to travel to another resort, the reception are helpful with this. The issues that we felt let down the hotel is the inability to reserve an alternative restaurant for dinner via the App or even via reception, availability was limited at all times and the restaurants were open quite infrequently. We only managed to book one restaurant ourselves in 7 days (despite trying). Trying to get a drink in the Moments Bar in the evening was hard work, waiting up to 30 minutes at times and on some occasions giving up! The key to our room stopped working at least three times, meaning constant trips to reception. On the last day, we requested a slightly later check out time but were told our room had been booked that day (despite the hotel being at low capacity) and we should shower in the toilets by the pool area, after pointing out in an email this did not represent a 5* hotel an alternative room was offered! I would say in time, with the above issues resolved it will be a lovely place to stay. Whilst we felt Victor listened to our issues, these have been ongoing and need to be addressed to ensure the best experience.
